My bucket list

sorta watched the movie "The bucket list" and I have no idea what it means until I was able to watch it. I say "sorta watched it" 'coz I have an attention span which can only last for 10 mins and I just felt the movie was too dragging. My brother was the one who finished watching the movie and went on playing the song "Say" by Jason Mraz which is the soundtrack of the movie. So maybe it was a good movie after all 'coz my brother had the determination to finish it. I just gave up on the 10th minute, I'm sorry.

But what exactly is a bucket list? A bucket list is not the stuff you would like to accomplish in a day at work but it's actually a list of things a person wants to do before they "kick the bucket" or die. Okay, for some dying might be a morbid thing to think about. I am not going to tell you about the ways I want to die, rather the things I want to do before I die. For the love of cheese and macaroni, I still want to see my cute babies! So, chillax and allow me to tell you about

MY BUCKET LIST (in no particular order):

1. Produce 1 or 2 of my own offspring. Read: 1 or 2 cute babies! My friends would always tell me that babies are beautiful/handsome and healthy when born from a mixed race. I am pretty excited to see him/her soon and be a great mom to my kids!
2. Bungee Jump
3. Sky Dive
4. Ride all the scary roller coasters and try out the slingshot ride. The more it makes me want to spill my guts out, the better!
5. Go rafting
6. See my mom and my brother live a very comfortable life
7. Travel around the world and see the 7 wonders of the world
8. Volunteer to help the needy (yes, I have a good heart. thank you)
9. Be a great cook
10. Help my husband buy our dream house
11. Visit the North Pole and check out if Santa really has his own factory there
12. Be nauseatingly rich - so I can travel around the world and help the needy.
13. Fly a plane/ a helicopter
14. Write a letter to everyone I love and mend broken relationships I had with people dear to me.
15. Own a beach house in Phuket, Thailand
16. Swim with dolphins and not with sharks
17. Get a job that I love and loves me
18. Be 110lbs again- yes, even at 50!
19. Be in two places at once
20. Be in the middle of the road where one side is raining and the other side is sunny

I will stop at 20 for the meantime 'coz I am hungry and listening to alternative rock is not helping my brain cells think either. This bucket list is subject to modification depending on the change in my level of maturity. This will be updated soon if I actually mature and not develop a rare case of amnesia. :)

So what's on your bucket list?

Crafts for less

I don't really know what it is with the holiday season, but my "craftiness" usually kicks in whenever Christmas is fast approaching. It all started about a year ago when I decided to make personalized cards and gifts for my friends, family members, and colleagues. My Mom is really crafty, but I wasn't really interested in making projects when I was a lot younger, 'coz I'm just too lazy to even think about a concept. Our house in the Philippines will always be festive by October 'coz my Mom will decorate the entire place with so much attention to every detail, so that her holiday theme will flow all throughout our house. Meanwhile, I will just sit on the couch and watch TV and lounge like there's no tomorrow. I showed no interest at all, as everything was just too much for my brain cells to handle. Mom's pink-themed Christmas tree (2013) One of the decorated areas in our house Then, I discovered Pinterest. Ohhh... Pinterest. For some ...

The day I decided to earn money the easy way

Relocating to another country has its pros and cons and lately I have been dealing with the cons - waiting for the chance to land a regular day job. With fast Internet connection and a lot of time in my hands, I figured I should do something to earn money. With the help of my friends, I was able to use my extra time to earn money by rating articles and answering surveys. I just started yesterday and I already earned $10. Rating articles is the easiest 'coz all you have to do is read articles and click on how many stars you think the article is worth. The cost of each article would depend on how much time you would spend when reading the article. You will earn from a cent to 20 cents just by rating an article! You can also earn $5 by telling a friend about the site and giving them the chance to earn money on their own too. If you want to earn money rating articles, just visit this site http://www.readbud.com/?ref=4439896 . Read on! :) Aside from rating articles, a friend of mine als...

Medical Examination at SLMCEC

November 9-10, 2009 This will be a blow by blow account of my medical exam that took place last week. If you want to be first in line, you can be there as early as 3am, but I went there at 5am because I wanted to make sure that I am safe while taking the exam and I don't want to wait in line for 2-3 hours. It was a good move, since they were already accepting applicants at 5am and I got in around 5:20am and I was the 54th applicant of the day. Make sure to have the following ready: 1. Passport 2. 4 2x2 visa pictures (they will only take 3 though, but I brought 4 since that's their requirement) 3. Original and photocopy of approval letter from the embassy 4. Print out of your interview schedule 5. Black ballpoint pen 6. Payment (213.35 - exchange rate is at 48) Flow chart: 1. At 5:30 I already got in and filled out the Patient Data Sheet form. Memorize your fiance's address and phone number or at least have a copy of it. 2. The guard called us up for the digital picture taki...
