To My Master

I am at a loss for words I am humbled I have a lot of questions in my mind, but I know I am in no position to ask I know that You are too wise to be mistaken Too good to be unkind Even if this path is too difficult to take and sometimes leave me hopeless, I know that You have plans for me - plans to make me great and not to forsake me I leave everything in Your hands Thank you for leaving me broken, for me to know how good it feels to be whole again Thank you for the challenge, for it taught me to be strong Thank you for the making me realize that if I depend on myself, I am nothing Thank you for putting me in my place and for letting me know that despite my stubbornness and sinful nature, You still love me. This phase shall soon pass I put my faith in YOU In my life you will forever be GLORIFIED.
(HongKong, Feb 2009) I love watching the fireworks. Seeing the artwork against the dark skies makes me appreciate the beauty that is around us. It brings out the child in me and it sometimes makes me reminisce the great relationship I had with my family when I was a kid. I was rebellious, but not the kind of kid who would almost kill her parents. I just love breaking rules and I always had something to say - and it is usually nasty. That was how I was as a kid. But even with such an attitude, I had a great relationship with my friends and my family. Things were great. But it's just lately that I came to realize that my own family is put to test. Those whom I expected to back me up are the ones who are being indifferent. I moved to the States and I have felt that it was my friends, my mom, my brother, my grandparents, and some of my aunts and uncles who were supportive of my decision. But not all of my family were happy about it and I can just feel it. I don't remember doing any

Everything but the...

I thought that I have already tasted 2 great flavors of Ben and Jerry's ice cream, but I was wrong. Hubs bought me a pint last night, since I managed to use my charm to make him buy me one and he got me a new flavor. I admire my husband for knowing what flavor I like and this one really got me hooked! I love almonds, peanut butter cups, chocolate, vanilla and all that jazz. So this flavor? Heaven!!!! I'm at a loss for words because this flavor is just beyond delicious and I am not exaggerating. :)

4th of July (2010)

Little George Washington One of the cupcakes from Publix We watched the fireworks at Baldwin Park. We went to watch it on the 3rd of July to avoid traffic jams on the 4th. Baldwin Park is a couple of minutes away from our place. It's a quaint little town in the bustling city of Orlando. Great place for families!
